TEMPORARY POSITION (End of Sept - Oct 31): A lovely family is seeking a live-out, part-time Housekeeper to work alongside their full-time Housekeeper in maintaining their New York City residences to the highest standards. Responsibilities include full-charge housekeeping, deep cleaning, laundry and ironing, running errands, and occasional serving duties as needed. The candidate will also assist with the upkeep of the family’s son’s apartment in Manhattan on a rotating basis. The ideal candidate is experienced in formal homes, takes direction well, and is committed to providing exceptional household support. Strong communication skills, discretion, flexibility, and adaptability are essential, along with a proactive, detail-oriented approach and a positive, professional demeanor. Fluency in Tagalog is highly desirable but not required. The preferred schedule is Mon, Weds & Fri, 8 hours per day, but can be flexible on days of the week. $45-$50 per hour DOE.

Couple is seeking an experienced & professional live-out Housekeeper to care for their UES home. Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, discreet, proactive & willing to learn and anticipate the needs of the household. Tasks include housekeeping, deep cleaning, laundry, light ironing, & the meticulous care of antiques & fine furnishings. Housekeeper will also maintain household organization, run errands, manage mail, grocery shop, & assist with light cooking/ingredient preparation. Family has a cat, and light pet care will be required. Housekeeper will also monitor supplies & proactively communicate any issues or items that are running low. Must have a strong command of English, attention to detail, and the ability to read the room. No driving, or travel is required. Mon-Fri 8/9am–4/5pm, but must be flexible to work occasional longer hours or weekends as needed. The family is seeking a minimum 5-year commitment. $35–$45/hour+ DOE, major holidays & sick days offered. PTO after one year.

Tasks include all aspects of childcare, children’s meals and laundry, keeping play areas tidy, organizing schedules, playdates and classes, rotating toys and clothing, and occasional errands/miscellaneous household tasks. Must be nurturing, organized, upbeat, easygoing, and a positive role model, with the ability to work collaboratively with parents and other staff. Family has older children in the home, so must be comfortable interacting with older kids. Ability to drive (car provided) and travel internationally strongly preferred. Simple family-style cooking is a plus. Live-in candidates have a private apartment in the guest house with bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen.
